After I moved to the U.S., I began to realize that neither medical personnel nor natural alternative healing practitioners focus on root causes. Almost always, they treat symptoms, even though those symptoms are a result of our immune system’s activation and our body’s natural process of purging toxins. Their effort to help their clients “feel better” immediately. They seemed not to understand the nature of human health and well-being.

Coming from Japan, where I was raised and educated, I learn that being ill is a way our soul expresses its frustration. It means that, rather than while being sick, we must reflect on what we do to cause ourselves to be ill. We must have done something to disrespect our nature; therefore, our body is purging the negative energy we created or allowed to enter our inner environment, where our soul lives.

Therefore, once we become ill, no one seems to be able to see the interrelationship between body, mind, and soul, or the anatomical, physical, psychological, emotional, and spiritual aspects as one.  For stomachache, they prescribe a pill, for backache, they prescribe a pill, for a psychological problem, they prescribe a pill, and for an emotional issue, they also prescribe a pill. Those pills are for disconnecting our body from our mind; therefore, our soul suffers from frustration at the end.

As I study, research, and practice the Posture Balance Healing Approach, I understand that what we need is a way to reconcile our body, mind, and soul, so that we can reunite our whole well-being. Additionally, a practice that treats a health issue as part of the wholeness of a human being. So, I organized the three main aspects to help anyone start learning about the wholeness of a human being.

As human beings, we possess a unique ability to organize or reorganize ourselves. Our nature is brilliant and wise, enabling us to maintain a 100% healthy and happy being. You can become whoever you want to be by balancing the three aspects shown above: maintaining proper posture and movement, adopting a balanced diet, and cultivating a positive thinking and attitude.

Focus: Your body needs Real, Fresh, and Whole Foods in a Balanced way (essentially, you need to eat fewer processed and preserved meals). We consult and suggest a diet to help you regain your vital energy, based on an assessment of your posture, body function, and mobility. This is because the suppleness and elasticity of our body tissues are derived from what we eat. Our approach is entirely natural. No medicine is involved.

2. Proper Movement & Posture

Better Alignment (Neuro –Musculo –Skeletal System)

Better Circulation (Breathing, Blood & Other Body Fluids, etc.)

Better Functions (Joints, Muscles, Organs)

Focus: The awakening and re-activating of forgotten body function, mobility, and purification system through the Makiko Method–Posture Balance: A postural movement integration based on Pilates, Gyrotonic Expansion System, Feldenkrais Method, and Dance Techniques. Through varied movement exercises, you rediscover your body’s natural way of moving. It supports your best vital energy circulation.
